Hey Glammies!!! Today I'm sharing all my essentials and favorite things to answer the question, what to pack when going on a beach vacation!! It doesn't seem to matter if we're going for 3 days or a full week I end up packing the same essentials every time!

First of all I ALWAYS take a YETI with me so my coffee stays hot and also for frozen drinks on the beach! Usually when we go to the beach it's warm and sometimes humid and the YETI cuts down on everything melting.
The one I took on this trip in the pic below is one I ordered off Etsy and it's all blinged out with glitter and it has my name on it

The second item I always take are a pair of flip flops that are specifically for the beach meaning they are more casual and if I get them wet it's not a big deal. I love these and they end up being comfy and fun with the bling!
The third must have on the list and THE most important beauty product in my opinion, is a great tan! I stock up on my self-tanner and also get a spray tan the night before we board the plane because it acts as a slight barrier from the sun (slight) and I want to be bronze but not from the sun!

I came across these fun headbands and have taken them on a few trips with me already and I'm in love, so they make the fourth item on the list! They are perfect for those days when you go on a snorkel excursion or are on a boat and your hair is flying all over the place! They can also double as a bandeau!

A great black bathing suit goes with anything! You can throw on a fun colorful coverup or go classic black with a floppy hat and shades. I usually take at lease one black one-piece and one black bikini with me on every trip.

The sixth item on my list are these towel clips which are super easy to pack and you will use them if you are reserving towels early in the morning when you scout out the perfect beach chairs or if it's windy, just to keep your towel in place! I LOVE my pink flamingos!!
My newest fave of this season is a Kimono coverup! It's great because you can wear it on the plane, during the day with a tank and shorts like in these pics, and then you can transition it for the evening if you're going out. A lot of the restaurants can be chilly to keep up with the humidity or if you're dining outside, sometimes the chairs are wicker and I will sit on mine so if I'm wearing a short skirt or shorts my legs have something soft to sit on and it's easy to pack!

Every time we go on a trip I pack at least some kind of casual sweatshirt for evenings if you're sunburned and tired and aren't ready for bed but want to be cozy. I love throwing on an oversized sweater with cutoffs and heading down to the beach to stare up at the stars and snuggle with my hubby. We also will get rain in the islands and it's nice to have something to cover up with or on shuttle rides during excursions.
Top priority has to be a lightweight fun beach bag because it's something I always bring with us to thrown in a random towel, our camera, phones, room key, etc. We don't like anything bulky and hot but something that is light and easy to carry and fold up in our carry on for travel is perfect. I often will use it as my "purse" so I'll stick a smaller zippered bag with items like lipgloss, change/cash, etc inside the larger bag so we don't have to carry multiple bags.

Finally, I always always pack 3-5 sets of workout clothes - there always seems to be unexpected activities that we end up doing that I don't want to only wear a bathing suit for but I also don't want to wear shorts and a top. One year we went zip lining, another year we climbed waterfalls, so I've learned it's nice to have a few sports bras, tanks and yoga capris in my bag to throw on and if it's water related they will also dry quickly. I also end up wearing workout clothes home on the plane and I want to make sure I have a fresh pair for the trip home.
That's a wrap!! Let me know what your favorite must-have items that you take on your beach vacations in the comments below!!
