Hey there Glammies!!! I am so excited to share this long striped cardigan look with you!! I can't believe it's already December!!! We sat down this weekend and put all of our activities on the calendar and I was blown away by all the fun things we have planned!!!
It's a little stressful with work and everything else that we "maintain" for normal life but I can't wait because it means we'll be busy and getting to do new things all month long!!
This long striped cardigan has quickly been a fave of mine for both work and casual looks because for work I wear a lot of skinny pants/leggings/coated jeans and this is the perfect piece to layer on for a great put together look. For casual I love the way the oranges compliment the blue jeans I'm wearing and it's an easy but glam look...you know me, I love finding looks that look great but are super easy to wear!
Whether you're grabbing a cardi like this or one in your closet an easy way to dress the look up is to throw on a silky cami like this one versus a knit/cotton tank and it really glams up the look especially for work or date night. Throw on a bootie and you're ready to go!
I snagged this one at my local Runway Seven Boutique and I've linked it below so you can shop the look! (NOTE: It doesn't appear to be on their website anymore so I've linked another retailer that has it FYI)
It's also perfect if you are Christmas shopping because sizing for cardigans is easier I feel like then for other types of clothes so if you want to gift this it's easy to just grab a size and if it's not exact it should still work. I'll also link some other pieces I've gotten from their boutique including my amazing Teddy Bear Jacket!!
This next week we have a Christmas Parade and we're hosting a family dinner to celebrate November & December birthdays and decorate gingerbread houses!! I can't wait to have everyone over and I'm thinking I'll also set up a hot cocoa bar for dessert! I did that last year and it was a hit when we had friends and family over. If you want to see how I did that here's the link from last years post.
