It's December!! I have been working on getting all of our Christmas decorations out and dispersed throughout the house and this year I wanted to make a fun and festive holiday hot cocoa bar! This was the first project I focused on and I am so happy with how it turned out! If you know me well, you know I'm always up for a coffee and this time of year my go to is a peppermint mocha/hot chocolate with sprinkles!!

I started with my anchor piece which is a good sized rectangular tray from Target and then I used a few books that I normally decorate with during non-holiday time and laid them flat so I could use them for a platform to vary the height of some of the other pieces.
I knew I wanted my theme to have some bling, holiday greenery (picks from Hobby Lobby) and peppermints! I added a few glass canisters to store my hot cocoa K-Cups and the other for candy canes. Then I put in a few gold sparkly pieces to jazz everything up and pull it together. (Noel Block; Gold Glitter Tree)
I stuffed this fun snowman mug with peppermint chocolate covered spoons and peppermint stirrers, added a shaker full of peppermint sprinkles and the look was complete!

These gorgeous white and gold stackable coffee mugs were the perfect finishing touch and really I could keep them out year round if I want to.
Now that I've finished with my hot chocolate bar, my kitchen feels fun and festive and it's completely functional! ?
I hope this gives you some good ideas as to how you can create your own festive holiday hot chocolate bar!
Cheers!
