Hey Glammies!! Today is a fave post of mine because I get to talk about a book review + the best ripped jeans ever!!! I also these studded flats they are so comfy and they dress up a simple outfit so well without killing my feet!! #winning! LOL
So.....one thing you may not know about me is I'm a total nerd. There....I said it...haha. Growing up I inhaled books like they were oxygen...like spend the entire Saturday in bed reading my "Babysitters Club" and "Sweet Valley High" series books. I'd go to the school library and check out 8-9 books at a time and read them in a few days. Like I said...total nerd...
These days I still love reading I just don't seem to have as much time...imagine that!
This book by Brigid Schulte is oh my goodness a freaking life manual for me!! The first time I ever read her phrase "time confetti" I was hooked! Let me back up....the premise of this book is exactly what the front cover says: "Overwhelmed...How to Work, Love, and Play when No One Has the Time."
When I read that in the bookstore I was like "sign me up! This girl has been reading my mind!" Don't get me wrong - I LOVE my busy crazy life and I am pretty organized and productive but goodness gracious I seem to be more busy with each passing day and the guilt I feel for not getting everything done is so bad some days! She addresses all of this and more in the book and it has been a breath of fresh air for me to follow her on her journey.
I drive a lot as part of my career (I'm a realtor) so a lot of books I end up listening to via the Audible app in the car. This book was no exception but I also purchased a hard copy because that's how much I enjoyed it and feel like I'll actually go back and reread in future months/years.
Brigid has an amazing way of connecting and sharing her story while also providing valuable insight and research that she has gathered on her journey. I highly recommend snagging a copy or at a minimum downloading it off Amazon and listening on your phone/tablet. And it's not just for ladies, there is insight in here for the guys out there too because men are feeling more overwhelmed and pulled in a million different directions now more than ever.

Now for the outfit!! So y'all know I love my off the shoulder sweaters and I adore ripped edgy jeans. These jeans are so stretchy and comfy and the rips are all in the right places to not show too much if you know what I mean! I did a previous post on this top and bralette combo and I'll include it below if you want to shop the post.
These studded flats are amazing!!! One of my girlfriends that I work with had them on one day and when I saw them I knew I would be ordering them before I got home! They have not disappointed - not only are they comfy but the pointy toe dresses up a comfy outfit.
I hope you've enjoyed this combo post of a book review + the best ripped jeans ever!!
